  • 1 lb Ground Sausage Choose mild or spicy.
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Optional; can substitute with mozzarella or pepper jack.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
Dough
  • 2 cans Refrigerated Crescent Rolls 8-count each.
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley Optional; for garnish.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease and transfer to a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the cooked sausage until fully combined.
  4. Unroll the refrigerated crescent rolls and separate the triangles, keeping them intact.
  5. Place a spoonful of the filling at the wide end of a crescent triangle and roll toward the pointed end, tucking in edges to secure the filling.
  6. Place the filled crescents on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh parsley and serving warm.
