  • 2 cups Lettuce Fresh crunch; romaine or butter lettuce preferred.
  • 1 cup Carrots Julienne or grate, substitute with bell peppers if desired.

  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Fresh herb to brighten flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions Can swap for parsley and chives.

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • shallow dish
  • Clean Work Surface

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Start by trimming the chicken breasts and coating them generously with teriyaki sauce. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add sesame oil. Cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until caramelized and cooked through.
  3. Prepare rice paper wrappers by dipping them in warm water for about 10 seconds until slightly softened. Lay them flat on a working surface.
  4. Layer the fillings: place a slice of cooked chicken, lettuce, carrots, cucumber, and sprinkle cilantro and green onions on the wrapper.
  5. Fold the sides over fillings, then roll tightly from the bottom to seal.
  6. Arrange the rolls on a platter and serve with extra teriyaki sauce or sriracha mayo.
