Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for roasting the turkey.
  2. Generously season the turkey inside and out with salt and pepper, then gently stuff with your prepared stuffing mixture.
  3. Place the turkey breast-side up in the roasting pan and cover it loosely with aluminum foil.
  4. Roast the turkey for approximately 3 hours.
  5. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil; add mixed vegetables and cook for about 5-7 minutes.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
  7. Pour the pumpkin mixture into a baking dish and place in the oven with about 30 minutes left on the turkey.
  8. After approximately 2.5 hours, remove the foil from the turkey and let it roast uncovered for the final 30 minutes.
  9. Once cooked, let the turkey rest for about 20 minutes.
