  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Celery Salt
  • 0.25-0.5 tsp Cayenne Optional for heat.
For the Tacos
  • 6-8 pieces Tortillas Flour or corn based on preference.
  • Olive Oil For brushing on tortillas.
  • Grated Cheese Colby Jack or cheddar recommended.
For the Avocado Lime Crema
  • 1 whole Avocado For creamy texture.
  • 1 whole Lime Adds zesty punch.
  • 0.25 cup Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt Low-fat or plant-based options available.
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro Torn for garnish.
  • Optional Jalapeno For added heat.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare your ingredients while the oven heats.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion, cilantro stems, and seasonings until cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Brush tortillas with olive oil, fill with beef mixture, and sprinkle cheese before folding.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Prepare the crema by blending avocado, sour cream (or yogurt), lime, torn cilantro, and salt until smooth. Add jalapeno for heat if desired.
  6. Serve the tacos warm topped with the avocado lime crema and additional cilantro.
