Preparation Steps
- Wash and dry apples, core and slice into wedges about one-inch thick.
- Lay apple slices on a parchment-lined sheet pan.
- Melt caramel bits and butter together in a saucepan over low to medium heat.
- Stir continuously for about 5–7 minutes until the mixture is smooth.
- Dip each apple slice in the melted caramel, then arrange on the sheet pan.
- Sprinkle desired toppings on warm caramel-coated apple slices.
- Allow to set for about 15–20 minutes at room temperature.
- Serve on the same pan or transfer to a serving platter.
