Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot of salted water, cook linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Toss with olive oil after draining.
  3. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté 4 minced garlic cloves and a pinch of red pepper flakes for 1 minute.
  4. Add 1 pound of large shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  5. Pour in ½ cup of white wine or chicken broth into the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in the juice and zest of 1 lemon and 1 cup of heavy cream. Simmer for about 3 minutes.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, season with salt and pepper, and combine well.
  8. Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish, spread evenly, and place the sautéed shrimp on top.
  9. Sprinkle ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella over the top.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
