Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch springform pan by greasing with butter and lining with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  3. Sift together the flour and baking powder, then fold into the egg mixture until just combined. Add the softened butter.
  4. Stir in the Greek yogurt until the batter is smooth.
  5. Blend the whole orange in a food processor until pureed and fold into the batter.

  8. Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. For the glaze, combine orange juice and sugar in a saucepan and simmer until thickened.
