Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate the wings in a bowl with cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the coating by mixing cornstarch and flour in one bowl and beating an egg in another. Coat the marinated wings in the egg and then the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a Dutch oven to 375°F. Fry the wings in batches for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Prepare the honey garlic sauce by melting butter and adding minced garlic, hot sauce, and honey. Simmer until slightly thickened.
