Preparation Steps
- Prepare your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- In a medium saucepan, combine equal parts water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, pour the syrup into a mixing bowl, add the lemon juice and lemon zest. Stir until fully combined.
- Transfer the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions for 15-20 minutes.
- Transfer the churned Lemon Sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least one hour.
- After one hour, stir the Lemon Sorbet. If too slushy, freeze for another 30 minutes, then stir again.
