Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine equal parts water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
  3. Once cooled, pour the syrup into a mixing bowl, add the lemon juice and lemon zest. Stir until fully combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Transfer the churned Lemon Sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least one hour.
  6. After one hour, stir the Lemon Sorbet. If too slushy, freeze for another 30 minutes, then stir again.
