Cooking Steps
- Start by steaming the chopped broccoli in a pot for 5–7 minutes, drain well and chop finely.
- In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cheddar cheese, beaten eggs, breadcrumbs, and spices until well mixed.
- Shape mixture into patties about 2-3 inches in diameter and place on a baking sheet.
- Heat 1/4 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat, then fry patties for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Transfer cooked patties to a paper towel-lined plate and serve warm with dipping sauces.
