  • 1 tablespoon Red Food Coloring gel recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Blue Food Coloring gel recommended
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cream the Butter and Sugar by beating together soft butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Incorporate the Eggs, adding them one at a time until fully mixed.
  3. Sift and Combine Dry Ingredients, then gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  4. Chill the Dough for at least 1 hour, covered with plastic wrap.
  5. Preheat and Prepare Baking Sheets by preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lining baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Color the Dough by dividing it into three portions, keeping one plain and adding food coloring to the others.
  7. Form the Cookie Balls by rolling dough together and coating with powdered sugar.
  8. Bake the Cookies for 12-14 minutes until tops are cracked but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool Down by letting cookies rest for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
